Common features of our Laminators
These basic features make our pouch laminators stand out and work well in many different situations:
Long Lasting metal frame:
With a long-lasting metal frame, our Pouch Laminators can handle the daily use of any industrial environment.
Temperature control:
You can adjust the temperature of the laminator depending on the thickness of the laminating pouch and the substrate being used.
Reverse switch:
In case of a misfeed, the reverse switch in our laminators enables easy removal.
In addition, our ProLam Ultra-XL 18.9” has some unique properties.
Have a look:
Exceptional large opening:
The 18.9" opening (XL only) enables you to laminate extra-large pouches (i.e., 18" x 24").
Programmable memory settings:
Our ProLam Ultra-XL 18.9" pouch laminator lets you set the right temperature and speed for the jobs you do most often.
Auto-shut off:
The device automatically cools and turns off after use, increasing the lifespan of your laminator.
LCD control panel:
It has a labeled keyboard and a backlit LCD, making it easier for you to operate.
Air-cooling system:
The laminator stays cool to the touch while in use, thanks to a patented internal cooling mechanism.
How do pouch laminators work?
Below are the steps used in operating a pouch laminator:
-
Laminator preheating: Switch on the laminator and wait for it to heat up. When it is up to the set temperature, a “ready light” will turn on.
-
Choose a pouch: Select the proper size laminating pouch for your document size. Several sizes, thicknesses, and finishes are available.
-
Insert the print: Make sure your document is centered and straight in between the two layers of the pouch.
-
Insert the pouch into the laminator: Place the pouch into the laminating rollers, making sure the sealed end goes in first (insert into a pouch carrier first if using one). The laminator will draw the pouch through the machine, heating and sealing the laminate around your document. The machine will take care of the rest.
